Just dropping by to say hello!

I hope everyone is doing well. I haven't been online much lately. Things are so crazy here. I feel like I'm on a roller coaster.

I posted a while ago about getting a second job. At first, I wasn't getting many hours. I was intending to quit, but was looking for something else first. Things started to look up after a few months. It has turned into a full time job. I've been there for just a few days shy of 5 months. I recently got a promotion and a raise. The only drawback is that I haven't had a day off in 14 days until today. I am scheduled for one day off a week (still work 7 at my other job), but always get called in. Well, today I didn't answer the phone when they called. I probably should have, but I seriously need a day to myself. The boys are with my dad and his gf. Thomas is at work. Today is MY day. I did a bit of cleaning and now I'm just being lazy.

I wish I had more time to visit here, but I'm always so tired by the time I get home from work. Also, the time I do have at home is for my boys. Nothing is more enjoyable than spending time with them. They are growing up so quickly. I don't want to miss a second that I don't have to.

Things are really looking up for us. This job has put us ahead finally. We don't have to stress over money. Sadly, we still haven't been able to replace our savings that we had to use after the fire and when I was off work after Payne was born. Still, we have plenty to pay all our bills, get what the kids need and still have a little left over. We try and plan a cool outing for the boys as often as we can.



Payne turned a year old on the 19th. I still can't believe it. Time has flown by SO fast. He is such an awesome kid. He has been walking since 7 months, but we can't get him to talk much. He will talk to Joey (he is 2.5 now), but doesn't say much to us. I will ask him to say something and he will shake his head no. LOL He smiles while shaking his head. I hope he starts talking soon. When he wants or needs something, he will tell Joey and he tells us. Drives me insane. ;) My intention was to post a picture of the party, but I can't upload one right now. My netbook is tethered to my phone. It's too much of a hassle to load photobucket because the connection is horrid. Like a REALLY slow dialup.
