Yes the reflection moves and distorts; it is an optical illusion. For some reason our eyes and optic nerve make it seem like that is happening, even though in reality it isn't. Why? I'm not sure because I'm not an ophthalmologist. lol   |

In highschool, while I was going through bad Depression and bullying, I was going what psychologists call schizophrenic! I use to see another person in the mirror who looked like me, but who was not me... Like me in another reality. Or I would look into the mirror see myself and in that moment not see myself as human, but an alien, or outer worldy being who is just here, looking lik a human, thinking she is a human. but unaware she is not till that moment I saw myself. Along with thinking there was another world through mirrors. And that another me, or girl that looked like me, found me when she saw me, and is was now messing with me. By making me have strong erges to stab myself and cut at myself. I was not sure if it was me or her I saw in the mirror for awhile... Before then I was very vain into looking at myself in the mirror, because people said I was a good looking girl, and I guess I wanted to see why. And I was not like that then... And am like that again now, cause I got better and people reminded me I am good looking. LOL! But I heard after all this was over. That Mirrors can be gateways, or open doors to other realms and can bring spirits through. To strange part is I did not stare into the mirror for a long time, Just a lot I guess... This was around the time I kept having conversations with angels and other dead non living spirits... That was a long time ago though.  |

If I stare into a mirror, I feel different. Only if i stare in a mirror for a long time though. I feel like I'm not a real person, that every action is not me. It's very weird and creepy. This is why I hate mirrors. My brother even had a panic attack (only haveing a LITTLE bit to do with mirrors) one night while watching wrestling..... and he said "I don't feel like a boy, I feel like a toy!" -that was a quote directly from my 8 year old brother who had a panic attack. I hate mirrors...  |

I'll tell you, this has nothing to do with mirrors but when I was little, about 3 or 4, my mom told me one day I was playing with a big stuffed animal dog (Mack Truck Dog) and it ended up pinning me on the ground. Suddenly, I was telling my mom to get it off of me and panicking. To this day, I can't remember what I saw or why I reacted that way or maybe I just blocked it out of my mind but I really dislike stuffed animals and dolls...
Although, I do remember having a dream about writing on a mirror or window and if I'm not mistaken, I wrote about it in here. |
