Author: 65040 Great story, it could be an urban legend but since he described it in the present tence as something he'd seeen, I kinda believe it. They say that rock with quartz in it can record things, sound video of a sort, and I believe this is what a lot of sightings that people call ghosts are. Some electric field, possibly yours or mine moves near the point of occurance trigering the playback button of what had happened there a long time before, then its simply stops. But places that report sighting often report the exact same aparition doing the exact same motions ect. So this is kinda what I think he saw. If he was telling the truth but the murder wasn't real then it could have been the ghost of one of many deaths that happened in the lake. Over the years I've heard of so many drownings. People not smart enough to stay out of the water when its dangerous. |

I haven't heard anyone else claim to have seen the girl. Then again since nothing really like that happens around here people might just think you are crazy if talked about ghost encounters. I don't see how walking down the middle of the road and looking right at him would be something she could be reapeating from her life when she was alive. I understand a residual haunting is when a spirit is reliving a memory from there life over and over. |

I think maybe the spirit of this murdered woman came back on this date, possibly because it was the same date she was murdered on a year ago? Although I do agree on the part about it being her birthday and maybe she wanted to be known on her birthday as well. Just a suggestion; unless maybe she's in search for something? I'm curious on why the boyfriend's father murdered her? If you find any clues, or anything else on her murder, I'd love to read about it. Great story by the way  |

I've been trying to find anything on it but haven't had any luck. Otherwise I would have posted it already. I haven't heard of any other similiar ghost stories from that area but I guess some just keep their mouths shut about it so they don't sound crazy. I've never had a spirit encounter but I still believe not everyone crosses over. I am not sure how long before the date my classmate saw her she was murdered but it could also be the day she was murdered a year before. But he said her birthday was in March and March is when he saw her. How he knew that I don't know. |

I have heard of tons of accidental drowning deaths happening in the lake. It could have also been someone who drowned in the laked spirit. They allow people to swim and fish in the lake. But even if they close the lake from swimming due to bad weather or the current is too strong people would still go in and end up drowning to death. I went to the lake twice for a school party since we were graduating from elementary school to middle/high school. I remember even boats zipping around with skiiers on the back and what not. The ghost girl could have been anyone from any type of accident in there. |

I pity who ever swims in that lake depending if the water the nudist swim in is up stream to the regular normal people swimming area. If anyone on here lives in Pennsylvania may remember something of it please let me know. I know I left that out in the post and I should have added it. It's been said he was fishing by himself and had a seizure falling half way over his boat which explains his sudden unexplained death finding him hanging over the side of his fishing boat. Having the seizure he wasn't consious or capable of being able to pull himself back out of the water and resulted to his passing. He is the third of my classmates from elementary school on up to pass away after graduating high school. That lake claims a lot of victims every year. Sadly this year I knew one victim. |
