In the past I would have said jump on it now. But with the market the way it is, I doubt you're in danger of someone else getting it first. |

Take your time and look around, make a list of what you'd like in a house, and then.....take your time. You have the money saved, therefore you'll have no trouble negotiating a good deal. Oh yeah, ...take your time. |

Kelly knows what I've been through..... LOL! It's so true in this economy, you have the upper hand if you have good credit and money saved fpr a down payment. Stay within your budget and you'll be fine. And take your time, cuz you'll be living there for awhile. Life is good. |

One piece of advice I would like to share with you. Buy a house that will have a payment under the budget you and the bank have set for yourselves. That way you can keep from being "housepoor". I know when we prequalified for a loan, the bank said we could afford a much higher mortgage than we knew we could so we stayed within the budget we set for ourselves Good luck and I am sure you will find the perfect home |

I haven't a clue. I sadly don't have a house yet and probably won't be house hunting for YEARS--as my boyfriend ran off and bought one already. Now I don't get to shop Boo! Anyways, good luck with the house hunt! I hope you get exactly what you're looking for!! |

I guess it depends on how much you like it. When you find the right one you'll feel it, no questions. |
