Date: 5/9/2011 4:08:00 PM From Authorid: 15228 How old is your house? I guess you could go look up your property records at the courthouse. You can get the previous owners names and do a search that way. |

It sounds like a poltergueist (sp?) and the best way to find history on it is to go and pull the records from your home with City hall and look up its' previous owners, then look up their names in old newspapers, obits, etc. It sounds like the occurences are pretty much harmless, so long as they don't get any worse. The chasing by the tall Red Shirted man is a bit spooky, though. If it is indeed spirits, they may want space of their own. What I've advised before is to find out about whomever it may be. Read the obits or public records about them, and try to set them up a small area in your home just for them. For example, one lady told me about a child who loved dolls that had passed away from a serious illness. She would move things, cry, sing, appear... I said to her that the child was curious, and felt invadced upon in what was HER home. I said she should set up a plat area for the spirit, if she liked dolls, set up a few nice dolls and tell her, "These are for you." Someone else (I think on this site, in fact) said they ahd a kitchen ghost that was always causing problems is the kitchen. Moving things etc. A female is what they sensed, and I said they should set up a little part of the counter for her, with a coffee cup, maybe some old wooden spoons and such. This is merely my suggestion to build a workable bridge between you and the entity. Good luck! |
Date: 5/10/2011 8:17:00 AM From Authorid: 15228 If it is a poltergeist the best thing you can do is ignore it. Giving it attention only feeds it, that includes you and your roommates talking about your experiences. I got rid of a poltergeist by ignoring it...by the way, it sounds ludicrous even to me to say I had a poltergeist!!! My daughter was the right age at the time, 13 with upheaval in her life from a pending move we were going to make. Do you suffer from bad dreams?? That's one sign of poltergeist activity. We would hear talking off in the distance, but could never pinpoint where it came from, we felt things sitting on the bed, things blew out of the closet at us, we would see things move. |

Also, does talking about it increase the activity? I would be telling a visitor about what was taking place and you could bet something upstairs would fall and roll across the floor as I was relating the experiences. It was always great timing and left no doubt as to whether I was telling the truth or not. Visitors who didnt know what was going on would have things happen to them. It took over 2 weeks of totally ignoring all the activity for things to begin to die down. You might say things got worse before they got better. Took probably a month for it to stop altogether. The very last thing to happen was a bottle of cleaner slid across the counter by itself. The counter was bone dry. I shrugged and went to the living room to watch tv and that was it. |

Wow, lots of things going on in your home! I lived in a home that had events similar to what you wrote in the post. A lot of things happened in that house but because I had so much to share people didn't necessarily believe everything I told them because how could so much be going on... right? But I believe you because it happened to my family. My dad, my brother, and I all seen things in the house. It could be a poltergeist, but that energy usually manifests due to emotional or psychological energy that is attached to a person. If everyone is seeing and hearing things they it might be multiple hauntings. The man with the red shirt and beard sounds interesting... I think the best way to tell the "type" of energy is to see how you feel at the time of an encounter. If you hear your name being called are you scared? startled? okay? same with the apparitions, see how you feel, your intuition will usually let you know what kind of energy you are dealing with. Also, you said your bed vibrates? It's interesting you say that because at the house I live in now, I used to feel as if someone was either jumping on the bed, like one jump to move it, or kicking the bed and it was so violent it would wake me up. I also heard tapping and scratching on the walls next to my bed and my boyfriend heard them too. I personally do not like any energy that does these things because I feel like sleep is a peaceful time, not a time to be frightened. So, I would try saying a pray before you go to sleep or doing some sort of protection. Good luck and keep us updated. |

Date: 5/10/2011 12:37:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 7849 Yeah, I am never really frightened when I see a spirit.. Although the past two times, I was very frightened.. Ive seen a white outline of a person standing in my room, I was frightened, and I prayed and cast it out in the name of Jesus.. The last one that I saw was a very dark shadowy figure standing at the end of my bed.. It reminded me of something in a movie. It was on the ceiling, and looked like a bunch of snakes weaving in and out of the celing.. then I saw a black mass start to appear below it, could have been a body or a head. I quickly grabbed my bible and cast that demon right out of my house.. which around the same time a light turned on in the hallway. My grandmother told me that the next day. She said last night a light flipped on, in the hallway, all by itself. So I figured once I cast the demon out of my room, it flipped on the switch in the hallway to show it was here.. before leaving. Kinda freaky! |

Date: 8/7/2012 9:09:00 AM ( Admin-N ) I don't know how I missed this post, sweetie. Forgive me for that. I have enjoyed reading your experiences for the past 6 years, almost, and it never ceases to amaze me how some people are so receptive to the spirits. Thank you for sharing with us. HUGS |
