Another typical night......


On another typical night,
When everybody is asleep,
And all you hear is your heart beat,
You can't help but get on your feet,
Conquer your fears,
Will you win, or settle for defeat?



You look out your window,
Hopeless with desperation,
Devastation surrounds you,
giving an unpleasant sensation.

A destroyed soul,
That seeks it's freedom,
A twisted mind that,
Wanders with boredom.

You scream at the top of your lungs hoping someone can hear you.


Stuck in this sad chapter of life,
Of which you have yet to flip to the next page,
Useless, like being trapped in a cage,
Anxiety kicks in, hopelessness and lots of rage,
Trying your hardest to prevail,
To absolute no avail,
Once again, you have failed,
Your ship is sinking,
But you still have to sail,
Seeking the light at the end of the tunnel,
You want to exhale.



This endless journey called life,
with twists and turns,
That are sharp like knife.
What has this world become???

It's has become a journey with endless mazes,
Confusion lurks.......
Like waking up from a nightmare in the strangest places.
The people that called themselves your friends,
All of a sudden start to show two different faces.

In deep thought.....

You must learn to look forward,
You can't look back,
You're committed to taking the first step forward,
But it's confidence that you lack.

You must find yourself,
You're completely lost,
It's a roller coaster ride,
Quick, grab on for dear life!!!

One thing left to do,
And you'll be home free,
Just wake up, open your eyes,
Wait a minute, this wasn't a dream??

Just another typical night.
