Ghosts can take different forms, so you're right, you may have seen one without knowing it. I've had some paranormal experiences from sensing spirits to hearing them to actually seeing one. The one I saw was basically a white blur, it was there then gone. And I just heard one again so I'm gonna go before I make it mad by talking about it. Good luck with yours!  |

I've seen the tall dark figure, very much defined and I've seen the smokey like white figures (many of them) and I saw a figure that looked like a chunky little man. Then there is the feeling of being watched such as you witnessed. So yes, I believe you've seen them.  |

I hate that feeling of being watched. I've never actually seen a ghost. My bro-in-law who doesn't believe in ghosts has seen a disembodied hand...as I said he doesn't' believe in them, but he can't explain what he saw. My sister has seen a ghost of an old woman. The figure was fully formed and slowly faded away.  |

Hi SC, thanks for writing here about your paranormal experiences. I have seen many apparitions throughout my life. The ones you speak of, shadow people, I have had many encounters with this kind of energy. I have seen very short "shadow people" of about 3 feet and very tall "shadow people" of about 6+ feet. The first one I ever saw was the short shadow person. I was walking down my stairs and seen something running from our living room down the hallway to the end of the staircase. I was about half way down the stairs and it stopped and we were face to face for what was probably a second, although it seemed like time just kind of stopped. I seen its eyes, it has yellow eyes, and it looked just as frightened as I was, which was weird to me. I finally was able to move, after being in shock of what I saw, and turned to run back up the stairs and I seen out of the corner of my mind it ran from the staircase. I got to the top of the stairs and turned the light on and the light bulb shattered. What is interesting, I never told anyone what I saw except my dad. A few days later my brother and cousin walked through the front door, it's right by the staircase and living room, and they seen a small black shadow run past them and as it ran one of the pairs of shoes by the door was moved as if someone hit it. They told me about it afterward and it was than I told them my experience. Also, the same thing happens in my house: there will be a lot of paranormal energy for a few weeks or so and than quiet for months. I am not sure what "activates" the energy but me and my boyfriend think it could be the change in seasons? Cool post, thanks for sharing!  |

At the last place we lived I was on the computer and turned to say something to my dog that was on the couch and acually saw a cookie sheet in mid air being tossed from the stove to the floor.....not falling, but tossed. A bag of spaghetti was tossed a day later from on top of the stove across the room and landed by my dogs water bowl. Scary but it never hurt us. It was always kitchen activity and I got the feeling it was a woman who didnt like the way I was keeping the kitchen! For some reason I got the feeling it was a woman from the 40s....when the house was built and a lot of women were waiting for their guys to come home from WW11. Karen |

I saw something when I was 13. It was a completely black figure shaped like a man, stand in front of the stove light blocking it. It disappeared when I lifted my head up from under the covers, scared to death. I wouldnt call it a ghost, but a demon. That was a very dark presence I felt that day. I could feel the blood in my entire body go hot and rush through my veins.  |

I've not seen one, but I've felt the presence, in my ex's house, I used to feel as if I were being chased by something I couldn't see. Here at my mom's house the microwave would just turn on, no timer display or anything, it would just come on by itself. I'd say "June, stop it." and it would quit. June was my brother's dad, our house is on the land that he used to own. My bestie's bf has seen my great grandma in their house. They put their house on top of where my grandpa's house used to be. She would come and tend to the sick children so my grandparents could work. Their son happened to be sick when he saw her.  |

I have recorded spirit voices, on tape recorder, and had a ghost help me finish puting flowers on my grandmothers grave a long time ago. I had two urns one on each side of her headstone. It had gotten dark after sunset had gone. I had waited to late in the day to do it. Well, I was holding a flash light with my teeth while I tied down the foam block in the urn and placed the fake flowers in it. I had finished so I stood up from it. Then I noticed, the other one was done as the same time and I did not hear a sound. Just like the people visit the Addams, on the show the Addams Family, I had a chill shoot straight up my spine, and I hussled my way out of that cementary.  |
