I really don't know the reason for it, if there is one, but to me it's like a show off kind of thing. Like they're saying "hey look at me, I got money". idk. Even as a woman I don't understand spending good money on useless things like diamonds and stuff. *shrugs*  |

Men have big fingers. The rings probably don't fit the traditional ring finger, so they started wearing them on their pinkies? I'd say that's how it started. I think it's great that guys are starting to express themselves thru jewelery. Thru some bling! Who's to know if they are real diamonds or not? I've got some bling that looks great, but isn't real. lol  |

I like to see rings on men..a nice bracelet on their wrists also...but I don't like to see 3-4 thick gold or silver chains hanging round their necks...I like bling, so I guess men can also lol...  |

When I tend bar, I wear a "pinky ring", while mixing drinks, people look at your hands and old, wrinkled hands do not look pretty so good, ergo, the ring.  |

I am black and I often wonder this here in the big city. Most guys I notice who wear rings on their pinky are no good,not judging any man who does but I've notice something isn't right with some of them, but may be in your town it may be different. ~Charmlit |
