Questions about ring fingers.... on a guy.

Monday my aunt had brought up something she noticed in town and when she went out to eat. She had noticed two or three Afro-American gentlemen who were dressed for the holiday and that they had (as she put it) large diamond rings on their pinky fingers. Dont know which hand.

I have in the past seen this on some men. Most of the time it is after church meetings or a social function. And when I think of it it is one either hand. To tell the truth they looked like they were "pimped" out and that they had more rings on their hands than they had fingers.

But for now we are just trying to find the signifigance of that one ring finger on men. And I am not trying to be racial on this one either by the reference at the top paragraph but it is only that ethinicity that I have seen it in. (I hope that sounds right)

Ok any input will be greatley appreciated. Thanks for reading and replying also!

Like they're saying "hey look at me, I got money". idk. Even as a woman I don't understand spending good money on useless things like diamonds and stuff. *shrugs*

I'd say that's how it started. I think it's great that guys are starting to express themselves thru jewelery. Thru some bling! Who's to know if they are real diamonds or not? I've got some bling that looks great, but isn't real. lol

Date: 1/26/2011 7:54:00 PM  From Authorid: 62445    I am black and I often wonder this here in the big city. Most guys I notice who wear rings on their pinky are no good, not judging any man who does but I've notice something isn't right with some of them, but may be in your town it may be different. ~Charmlit

Date: 1/27/2011 8:50:00 PM  From Authorid: 42945    Bling is a common reference of wearing a lot of jewellery over here Karla, I have people commenting all the time about the ones I wear....My doctor being the worst one for it..
