I guess just today my lie account number would be 2. First I lied to my brother and sister in law saying I was sick so they couldn't use me as their personal free babysitting service again. I wish I had the nerve just to say no and quit taking advantage of me constantly. And lie number 2, just within the past few minutes I emailed my ISP and made myself sound like someone who had a lawyer in my back pocket because I wanted to cancel my service. I had read so many complaints after signing up unfortunately, that they are scam artists who continue billing your credit card months after they are no longer authorized to do so. So thats two lies. Hope Santa is not watching lol |

Hey snookums thanks for reading, I myself have used the babysitting one a couple times lol, always works. It's just something about saying no that I can't deal with, it's hard for me therefore I lie lol! |

I am the same way.. Because if I was honest all the time, then I couldn't be nice. And I've had that "be nice" thing ingrained in me since childhood. So its like pick one or the other. Aaaargh!!! |

I know exactly what you mean. You know what, that's the reason why people tend to take advantage most of the time. In most cases it's family. At least in my case it is. That's why I don't loan my sister money anymore. I know it's family and all, but still doesn't make it right. |

I am a compulsive liar. I might even be lying right now. I lie all the time, and usually I don't feel remorseful until I'm in bed that night like "Oh no what have I DONE?!" Sometimes I'll avoid telling lies but I'll narrowly miss the truth, too. I operate that way. |

I've lied to get out of work before. I felt bad later though and scared. It's just not worth it. Plus i hate getting lied to myself. |

Celtic Princess, I know exactly what you mean and agree, it's not very fun when they do it to us. Sparkler, you can get away with it only cause you're pregnant |

I still owe money to AT&T, and I now have Verizon. Well, AT&T will call me at my job, and if I happen to be the one that answers, I say, "She's not here today." They have no idea it's me. lol |

Many years ago I had to take a day off work so I could catch up on banking and paying bills etc and rang into work sick...while standing in the line for my turn at the bank clerk, who should walk in the door and look straight at me was the Managing Director of where I worked...I nearly died and was so embarrassed because I had dealt with him a lot during my working day..he smiled and nodded and I felt so awful, only because I knew that I had lied about being sick...So to this day I have never used illness to lie. He never mentioned seeing me in the bank the next day at work *sheesh*!! |
