Let's begin by centering. Take a couple deep breaths. Get into a comfortable position. Now we can begin to visualize:

You are walking in a meadow. There is a beautiful tree that looks particularly inviting. If you wish you can count down the steps until you reach the tree. Once at this tree, you take a seat at its base. Let out a big exhalation. As you sit at the base of this tree, internalize the sturdy, grounding energy. Imagine the roots planted deeply into the Earth below. The tree is anchored strongly and vibrant. After taking a few moments to ponder this, you look around the meadow. The first thing you see are some strikingly red flowers. As you look at these flowers the wind picks up. The flowers sway and there is a bit of a chill in the air. Soon, the flowers still and the chill recedes. You imagine the pollen going forth to make more of these gorgeous crimson blossoms. The next thing you notice in the meadow are bright orange mushrooms. The mushrooms are succulent, firm and hearty. They are glossy and healthy You notice a number of them dotting the verdant landscape.Next, look skyward. Take a moment to ponder the sun. Without its heat and warmth, no life would exist. Its energy helps sustain the circle of life and the health of the whole ecosystem. You look away from the sun, and you begin to scan the beautiful aqua sky. It is nearly cloudless, but once in a while you see a white puff go by. You idly observe them. Suddenly, you begin to notice some dark clouds. You wonder if these are going to bring a storm, but as you watch, they too fade. Only the glorious expanse of blue is left. Now, look to the ground. You notice how plush and emerald green the grass is.Think about how the greens are some of the most universal staples in the food chain. Other than the sun, grass and other greens are some of the most prevalent sources of food and energy. As you scan your vicinity, you notice a small pond that you had missed on your way to the tree. Its water is perfectly clear and hardly rippled. You can see all the way to the bottom. The surface of the water acts as a mirror reflecting the beauty of this place back to you, and indeed amplifying it. You take pleasure in its beautiful dark blue appearance. Lastly, you turn your attention back to the tree. Look at its thick, strong roots, imagine the nutrients and water flowing effortlessly up the trunk. The nourishment comes from the Earth, the sun's heat, water from rain and even snow.Through all weather, the tree stands strong. Keep scanning, letting your eyes follow the trunk, up,up to the leaves. If possible the leaves are even deeper green than the plush grass. You begin to notice buds nestled within the leaves. Some just on the verge of opening. You also see a smattering of the most beautiful, majestic, royal purple blossoms. You think about all it took to get those blooms to occur. Ponder for a moment the natural cycles. The seasons. As you continue to look, you can literally see a few of th blooms beginning to unfurl in front of your eyes. Bask in the glory of their newness, their majesty. You can come back to this tree any time and check on it's progress. You know you will be treated to more, even fuller blooms next time. You slowly stand, stretch and exhale. Walk away letting the beauty of this place saturate your very core.
