My New Tattoo (PurpleRoses)

The last time I wrote about tattoos I wanted an infinity symbol and was ranting that I could not afford one. I did end up getting a tattoo but it was not the infinity symbol after all. It was something that strikes a chord with me. It is a Japanese kanji symbol. It is "hime". Hime, in Japanese can mean woman of noble birth. Most English speakers say it means "princess". I'm ok with either translation :). I took a while to learn the stroke order by heart. I can draw this symbol as easily as I can write English characters. I love it. It is kind of appropriate for me to have because my name also means woman of nobility. I guess it's destiny. Anyway, without further ado, here is my gorgeous new tat:
