I have been vegetarian since I was 2. I have wanted to be fully vegan for quite some time. I have been trying to find recipes I can do at home. I have never strayed far from the usual: peas, carrots, celery, I like fruit such as grapes, raisins, apples, and bananas. I know one issue with my diet has been protein. I also need ot find healthy fats and of course things chock-ful of vitamins. I will be making my own bread/pitas and some type of veggie dip/hummus for sure. What else do you guys recommend? Also, if anyone here is actually vegan and could give me some tips, I would love it. My biggest issue will be dairy substitutes. I love dairy. Cold cereal with milk and cheese in various forms is a staple of my diet. I do need and want to change, for my health and for my future plans that are coming up. So, any advice and/or favorite recipes offered would be wonderful. Thansk so much!
