Sylvia Browne live (PurpleRoses)

We saw Sylvia at Northern Lights Casino today. I have been a fan for a long time. I was looking forward to this for quite some time as well. We got front row, which was nice. Her husband introduced her. She came out, and it seemed she had a bit of trouble walking. She sat in a lounge type chair. She talked about beliefs of her church, she talked about the fact she believes 2012 will come and go with no apocalypse. She is very funny and irreverent, but also makes some very good points. She basically says to use the golden rule. She talked a little about spirit guides and karma. She had the audience laughing so many times with her delivery and she is a very pleasant person at least from what I saw. One of my favorite parts of the evening was the guided meditation. NEver in my wildest dreams did I expect I would ever get to meditate with Sylvia Browne!! She lead the meditation, it took about 10-15 minutes. By the end I was so relaxed and calm ,I was practically slipping off of my chair. You could feel the energy in the room changing as the meditation went on. It was a wonderful experience. After the meditation, it was time for some q&a. We all had gotten tickets at the beginning , as we walked into the theater. Sylvia had a bowl an drew tickets stubs to call numbers. It was kind of like a raffle or bingo. The theater was sold out, at least very full if not. I never ever expected to get my number called, but I did. I went up and was able to ask her a question, which she answered perfectly, and with information she could not have known by any other means than psychic abilities. I was impressed and very happy to have had this great experience. The only downside, however, was they kind of plugged their trips and readings and books a little too hard. It was understandable though and I let it roll off me. All in all I woudl say a great night, and this experience just reinforced my belief in her abilities.
