What's everyone doing for Halloween this year? - - KRISTA - -

I can't believe that there hasn't been a post about this yet! :p

A lot of people are ignoring Halloween this year because money's pretty tight for everyone, so I was wondering what everyone's plans were for this Halloween.

I know a lot of you are bitter old people (*ahem* George) but I was wondering who still dresses up for Halloween. Everyone in my family gets super psyched about Halloween every year, and after doing the Zombie Walk, we're only more excited! With Sam working at a haunted house this year, we did underplay it a little bit this year because we haven't been seeing her as often, but we're probably all still going to dress up and celebrate it like every year.

Personally, I am going to put a zombie doll thing costume together for the sake of already having the materials. What are you all planning on being?

Also, how does your family celebrate Halloween? Do you still carve pumpkins? My family always throws a party and we grow our own pumpkins every year. We got great ones this year, although they weren't nearly as big as last years orange giants.

So, USM, how are you celebrating Halloween this year?

-Your favorite annoying little weirdo, Krista

Date: 10/26/2010 5:44:00 PM  From Authorid: 21435    I am supposed to be off work this year. Can't really get too crazy `cause I do have to go in early on the Monday. Guess I'll just hang around the house and give treats. Write on, Krista.
Date: 10/26/2010 6:36:00 PM  From Authorid: 64365    I'm staying home and giving out candy and treats to all the little ghoulies and goblins that come a-knockin', and all the little ghosties and gremlins that go bump in the night...I'm looking forward to taking pics of the kiddies, and some of the not so little ones that are sure to be out
Date: 10/26/2010 7:25:00 PM  From Authorid: 42945    Unfortunately it is not viewed over here like it is in the States hun, such a shame really. Some people dress up and some parties are carried out but I mainly just give out sweets etc to the little kids who do like to take part in it and come knocking on the door. I saw some photos of the Zombie Walk that was an event in our sunshine state of Queensland and they all looked great...I haven't seen any pumpkin carving either happening over here
Date: 10/27/2010 12:30:00 AM  From Authorid: 53052    i am bringing my toddler trick or treating.. going to do malloween in the afternoon then a bit of real door to door trick or treating, i'm hoping it doesn't rain because her costume which i spent days and days sewing won't stand up to rain
Date: 10/27/2010 1:36:00 AM  From Authorid: 30097    I've never been a fan of Halloween, then this year i was going to see a show on Halloween that i was very excited for.

Then i got a job, which i'm scheduled to work during the show

I might scramble to do something

Date: 10/27/2010 2:35:00 AM  From Authorid: 37843    I work at a haunted house and we are open for a couple of hours on Halloween so I'll be dressed as my character. I'm doing my nieces vampire make-up before she goes trick-or-treating on Saturday. We are carving the pumpkin tomorrow evening
Date: 10/27/2010 9:17:00 AM  From Authorid: 42703    I don't do much on halloween, not really a fan of it. I will just take my boys trick or treating at few houses & then go to my moms.
Date: 10/27/2010 12:46:00 PM  From Authorid: 37150    I'm working that night, but they let us dress up at work, so I'm going to dress up as an anime character: Mari from Evangelion 2.0 (where she's dressed in her school uniform). Money is tight, but I'm sure people could still post stories on here. At home, we're carving a pumpkin. I'm gonna get my candy from work and whatever my boyfriend's sisters bring home. lol. Cool post. I'm glad someone is talking about Halloween, too!
Date: 10/27/2010 1:34:00 PM  From Authorid: 23963    Not too sure, this year Halloween came too fast and didn't have much time to think about what to do. I will probably take my little nephew out to trick or treat.
Date: 10/28/2010 4:24:00 PM  From Authorid: 26227    Instead of handing out candy Im going to take the candy. Its a lot easier than going door to door. Ill just the candy come to me LOL
Date: 10/28/2010 9:49:00 PM  From Authorid: 46486    Not doing anything for Halloween, where I live we don't even get trick or treaters, which takes my Halloween mood away from me really.
Date: 11/10/2010 5:03:00 PM  ( Admin )   I know a lot of you are bitter old people (*ahem* George)???????
