In the dark

This dream began as one of those dreams where you narrowly escape from something chasing you as I was running away but in this case I stayed to find out what would happen if I stopped. I was in a darkened warehouse that seemed to go on forever. There were a few windows letting in light filtered by dust. I remember that I was standing or rather floating (strange) in an upright position in the middle of the warehouse. I could hear from the darkened corners something shuffling around and knocking over cans. Suddenly, I felt a something against my legs. On my left leg, a cobra was coiling around it and on the right leg, a solid black cat was rubbing against my leg. The two animals would interact and seemed friendly to each other. As this was going on, I could hear from the animals that they were saying something over and over again. Finally, it got loud enough to where I could hear the animals repeating, "Join with us!" As all this was going on, I felt heated in the dream and everything seemed to slow down or was just off, if that means anything. The voices were echoing everything had a foggy or hazy look to it. Just at that moment, chains come out of the darkness and wrap around my arms and start pulling me apart. I hear the bones start snapping and tearing and then finally, I wake up...

It didn't but it gave me a quick start in the morning after dreaming that...
