Gather those photo's of the Halloween parties or the fun your kiddo's had, and put them into a post. If you heard of some spooky story, or even creepier, did you encounter something really haunted along your path this Halloween .. make a story about it. Then for our very talented writers of poetry, put your skills to work in a Halloween inspired poem for us.

We want your entries before the deadline ends Sunday Night. Voting starts Monday at 12:01 am .. mmuuaaahhhh!! 

We have different categories and you can vote for your favorite in each category. One vote for each category .. and you decide which post fits best in which category.  We give this task to the readers, because some posts fit more than one category .. IE, a poem might also have a drawing. So you decide which part of the post should win in your opinion for each category.The voting post will be put up 1 week after Halloween 2010.

1.   Pumpkin Carving or Art ... creative carving of pumpkins or artistic halloween ideas!  This will include house/yard decorations. 

2.   Halloween Costumes .. yourself, kids, pets or your local ghost ... LOL

3.   Halloween Story...non-fiction or fiction. For multi-part stories, just vote for the first part.

This is my first Contest i have ever held for USM so i have used some of the rules from the past Halloween Contests. Lets have fun, be creative.. and spooky!!

In order to enter your must post your entry:

1.Make your post and put your photo of your carving or costume ex. in the post. Add as much fun story with your post .. as this will help the reader want to vote for your post !!! Make sure you title your post with an interesting and attention grabbing title ... but make sure to add to the title "Halloween Contest", so we know it is an entry for the contest.

2.Make sure you have your post in by 1 week after Halloween night!! This way, you can gather this years stories, art or photo's for your entries. The winner will be posted right after we gather the votes! Voting will start November 8th
