A Peaceful Morning with Me..Sage

small I got up this morning, after a nice sleep in my comfy bed..Noone was up but me..I wake up at my computer as always, looking at my email..after I answer a couple..I go to the kitchen and take my flaxseed capsules, my thyroid blend pills, and my green tea pills...I make my hot cereal pouring in flaxseeds, a sweet n low, and the measured amount of water.  Its a 7 grain cereal and it is good after being microwaved with raw honey on top..and I have a bottle of my HONEST Morrocan Mint tea or my HONEST peach oo-la-lang tea.  The combination is taken back to my computer and I get on Facebook and take my time eating the hot cereal oozing with the honey and drinking the cold bottle of organic tea.

I hear the dogs outside..So I get up once I finish my breakfast, I dress, and then go out the back door that leads from our living room. The living room in this house was built on and it has an outdoor to the covered patio outside. I go outside and see the dogs need water again, so I use the hose and fill their water bowls again and I sit on a patio chair and take in the new day..The dogs after lapping up some cool water come over to me and get their friendly pats and lovins'. I love their friendly faces and tongues hanging out in big doggy smiles..As I sit they lay down beside me and preen themselves, itch at a stray flea and pant and look out like I do over the green backyard..The giant, ancient trees in the back creak as their heavy branches filled with green leaves make shady spots on the sunny green grass. There are squirrels jumping up and down the branches and chattering to each other..The shiny blackbirds mock each other with all kinds of chittering back and forth...The wind blows thru the trees and the branches bounce up and down in the breezes..it makes my hair tickle my back and shoulders as I listen to the trees "talk"...I watch the crepe myrtle blow its soft petals all around, its different colors, stains on the blue sky and green grass.

I take a moment to reflect on if I want to go to the park for a walk thru the trees around the city lake. Watching the trees and vines entangle each other there all around the small coves of water plants in the sun-warmed water and listening to sounds of rabbits and birds in the foresty part of the trails..I see dog tracks and raccoon tracks in the red sandy mud close to the small lake or rather pond where the kids are standing next to the water with their fishing poles, their bobbers bobbing up and down in the sun dappled ripples of the water, playing with the worms they use to put on their hooks to catch a glistening blue perch or two..The wild ducks and geese are nearby ready to run for pieces of bread small children throw out to them while amused mothers watch closely..

I also reflect on what studies I want to study on the computer..I love herbology or do I want to go to the Hastings store full of music, movie videos and books..my favorite, the books and magazines..they have oversized chairs to lounge in and flavored coffee for a dime, little tables next to them for the piles of books and magazines that get stacked up during the course of the day..I like to study the fitness magazines and catch up on the celebrities, read women magazines that I dont get in the mailbox at home. You can smell the newness of the books..and people silently walking along all the cards and merchandise, listen as they are looking thru the music and browsing over movies to rent. I also reflect on other choices of places to go, Akins Health and Organics store, the thrift shop to see what treasures have been added, the library or even lunch out at Chilis..today lunch is gonna be a healthy turkey burger I decide.

As I get up to go check out more Facebook and coming to USM to post and comment, I pat the dogs one last pat and give them kisses on their heads, I realize I enjoy my mornings full of thought and I face the day with what it brings with a smile and a relaxed attitude..I hope you enjoyed my telling of my mornings and I hope all of you have wonderful mornings yourself to indulge in..have a awesome day.

How it changed my life:

My mornings give me perspective.
