Maybe your body isn't getting the nutrition that it needs. Try taking a daily multivitamin. Maybe that will help. |

Vitamins would be good. Try not to eat to get yourself full, only eat to get yourself satisfied. Try munching on some fruit throughout the day. Sometimes it takes a while for the brain to register that you've already ate and that you're full lol Sometimes I ignore my hunger, knowing that I've already ate a good size meal and that feeling goes away, but I don't starve myself just so you know lol |

It sounds like for some reason, either your hypothalamus is malfunctioning or your metabolism is ramping up. Since I don't have any medical training, I'm not sure what the reasons for that would be, however. |

I am ALWAYS hungry one week out of every month--but I think there are a lot of females who feel my pain there. When I try changing my diet to eat healthier I go through phases sometimes where I'm really hungry--part of it is probably not even ACTUALLY being hungry but just WANTING food that I DON"T need...not that I'm depriving myself, but there is such thing as over eating and when your body gets used to that it craves more food once you try to control your portions appropriately. Also, have you become any more active than usual? Begun a new sport or workout routine? That always makes me hungrier too b/c I am burning more energy. |

Oh, RM is prob right; you may not be getting the nutrition your body needs, thus it is telling you it still needs more. A multivitamin might be good or just watch what you are eating--eat more filling foods with protein and fiber and make sure to eat veggies and fruit. |

This could also be related to the foods that you are eating. If you eat a lot of sugary foods or carbohydrates without balancing them with protein, you will rapidly digest the food and your insulin levels will spike, causing you to feel hungry again. Make sure you are eating healthy, balanced meals throughout the day. |

And speaking of insulin levels- intense hunger can also be a sign of diabetes. So you should speak to a doctor if it continues. |

I was hungry all the time, but my doctor did some tests and found out it was diabetes that was doing it to me. Now I'm on a very balance eating schedule, and have no problems with being hungry. |

This could be a sign of many things, but first and foremost, it could be nutritional related. Evaluate what you're eating: is it fattening? Is it truly nutritious? What is your eating pattern? Which is your biggest meal? Do you eat snacks during the day? If you're trying to lose weight, the best pattern is to have a big breakfast, a medium-sized lunch and a small dinner. No food after 6:30 pm. Drink plenty of water during the day, too. If your hunger problem persists, see a doctor. |

there is actually a really great breathing exercise you can do to control hunger. it is called sitali pranayama.. you curl the sides of your tongue and stick your tongue out through an "O" shaped mouth, inhale through the mouth/rolled tongue and exhale completely through the nose, repeat. this is also called the cooling breath.. great to do in the summertime! hope this helps. peace and love! |

Maybe it's your thyroid affecting your metabolism (get it check at the doctor). Also, if you are trying to lose weight and are on a diet then it makes sense your body would be hungry from the less amount of food you may be eating. Try keeping yourself busy and exercise regularly. Drink plenty of water (it's a natural appetite suppressant). Hope it's not a tapeworm. |

If you're looking for vitamins, which I recommend, don't spend your money on crap. Try these Majestic Earth Ultimate Tangy Tangerine (http://tinyurl.com/39ohyln) they are the very best. You'll get all vitamins and all minerals in one bottle. They are much much much cheaper than buying vitamins and minerals individually and they are highly more absorbable by the body. And you can forget about ever having a cold, ever. As far as food to eat try fruit. Fruit is our natural diet when available. You can go here to learn about it www.30bananasaday.com, they are a bit fanatical in my opinion but there is truth there (or you can ask me and I'll tell you). Also try Majestic Earth Minerals, they are cheaper. Majestic Earth Ultimate has the minerals in it but our body is lower in minerals so — cheaper — and it works for us. I only take about 1/2 oz. a day. Two bottles last about 3 months unless you take their recommended dosage then it goes much quicker. Vitamins $41; 32 oz., minerals $19; 32 oz. |

Yes, I go thru this all the time..I just make myself stick with low cal snacks...I think when one diets, the mindset tries to trip us up by trying to sabatoge what we endeavor to do...dont let it win... |
