Date: 6/26/2010 3:16:00 AM From Authorid: 14464 I am scared of cockroaches, I go into a panic attack when I see one and I have no idea why. Elevators scare me, but I still use them. The attacks have lessened the more I use an elevator. I am very afraid of being high when I have nothing between me and the ledge. |

So, let me get this strait. You are afraid of a worm that can't climb stairs? That is strange, alright. I'm afraid to respond to this post, my therapy is this line of text. I have Achluophobia so bad I have to cover my eyes. Also, Agrizoophobia drives me wild. My Brontophobia only seems to both me when it rains. Kenophobia is not the fear of empty places, it's the fear of playing Keno. I always lose anyway at that game and go home broke. Ohh...I get it.. Kenophobia is the fear of empty places, like your wallet. Now that makes sense. I used to fear being afraid of stuff that scares me. However, after many years of therapy I'm cured. Now I have no fear of being afraid of stuff that scares me. Now, I have the fear of not being misunderstood. I hope that clears things up. -Rad. -Rad.. |

I have a fear of ladybugs (DEATHLY terrified of those things) and of Ferris Wheels (not the height part, but more the fact that it goes in around in a circle. It's hard to explain, but working at an amusement park this summer with my ride being right next to the ferris wheel I'll have plenty of time to explore and figure out that fear.) Both of which were not on the list. I also have agoraphobia, quite badly. Textaphobia with silk. Aphenphosmphobia which I think goes along with the agoraphobia. Chiraptophobia... Geez. I sound kinda crazy. |
Date: 6/26/2010 8:22:00 AM From Authorid: 4995 I have agoraphobia. The fear I think of people. I have a social anxiety I take meds for. I fear leaving my house every day just to go to work. |

I went through a phase when I was younger, I suffered from Social Anxiety, and I had a horrible fear of death. When I went to get help for this, I found out that I developed this because I spend my first few years in hospital and I saw young children dying. Thankfully I've battled this fear!. |
Date: 6/26/2010 12:14:00 PM From Authorid: 28848 Um I don't think I have any dislikes that could be actually diagnosed as a genuine phobia, since normally it has be to something severe enough to impede your way of life or be debilitating in some way. |
Date: 6/26/2010 12:15:00 PM From Authorid: 28848 How do you go about dealing with not being able to walk down stairs? That must be really hard. |

Conversely, George, I'm afraid of worms that CAN climb stairs. Anomaly X, you and me both. RM, I usually just grip the handrail and hope I don't fall and break my neck. I have disturbing visions and thoughts that make me afraid of these things. For example, with worms, I'm always afraid that they'll get near my mouth somehow. And also, I hate anything that moves but won't look at me. |

Date: 6/26/2010 6:25:00 PM From Authorid: 28989 I think a fear of clowns is called caulrophobia. I didn't have a real phobia of them, but they definitely gave me the creeps when I was little. I've never found them funny or cute or anything like that. I always carry a can of mace in case I run into one. Other than that I had an intense fear of spiders, but that's mostly gone away. Once in a while I get a black widow in my house. Those definitely have to leave the premises! |
