I seem to like to write it sepparate which has to relive itself of one pee. I also seem to not be able to spell Krista, it comes out KrispyKidder ... :P -Rad.. |
Date: 6/3/2010 5:12:00 PM From Authorid: 16916 I tend to misspell necessary (I think it's spelled right this time!) I am really careful about the there, their and they're thing. Another one that messes me up is effect and affect. |
Date: 6/3/2010 6:19:00 PM From Authorid: 22852 @}~~ My spelling usually is not so bad, but, when speaking I have noticed that I mix my words or say the wrong words. {comes with age LOL} |
Date: 6/3/2010 6:37:00 PM From Authorid: 15228 Lots, but Aisle and Isle confuse me. I always forget how to spell aisle and have to look it up. I just looked it up to make this post. |

I'm pretty careful on my spelling, and am a spelling Nazi at times myself. Although, I'm human, and I make mistakes too. LOL I can't stand it though when people say "Ardamant" instead of "Adamant". Over here, many moons ago, there was a character on TV that used to say "Ardamant", and people have just got it stuck in their heads that that is the way to say it. Grrrrrrrr. LOL Today a work colleague used the word "abscond" instead of "accountable", not just once, but about three times. It took all that I had in me not to correct him, 'cos he was being very serious at the time. |
Date: 6/7/2010 8:45:00 AM From Authorid: 12709 I make a typo here and there, as I am a human being. You will NEVER catch me messing up your/you're, there/their/they're, or anything along those lines, however. I want to punch something whenever I see those confused. |

I make a lot of typos, but I'm usually pretty good with grammar. If I use the wrong form of there, they're or their, it's because my fingers get ahead of my brain or my brain gets ahead of my fingers... or something like that. There are a few things that bother/confuse me from time to time when I see them... One that I can think of right off the top of my head seems to be a regional thing: "rather" in place of "whether". And it absolutely makes my skin crawl when I see "seen" in place of "saw". *shudder* LOL |
