So this time I was in a classroom which looked just like any other classroom I had been in with the exception that the class was being taught by John Denver. He was there lecturing about some really advanced mathematics (I don't know if he really knew these things while he was with us) and was giving us the answers to an exam and the reason for the answers. The only problem was he was going way too fast for me to copy it down or maybe I was going way too slow for him, not sure. I was on problem seven by the time I looked up he was all ready on 25 so I started panicking. I asking my classmates about what the answers were but they were extremely rude and didn't want to help. I raised my hand and asked our teacher and I remember him saying, "Yes, sir, what is your question?" and at the same time he had this curious way of scrunching his nose and pushing his glasses up with a finger. I asked if he could repeat the earlier questions to which the class erupted in laughter. I couldn't believe it... Our teacher just kind of smiled and said, "Please try to keep up and you'll get it." While the class was going on our instructor fell to the ground and got back up and said he was having a stroke or heart attack. I was amazed no one was doing anything to help! I got up to go get someone (I guess this was during a time when no one had cell phones yet) and he just said, "It's ok, I'm fine," and got back up to lecture. After the class was over, I was again amazed at everyone's apathy as they just gathered their things and left. I stuck around to see if our instructor was ok to which he was but still shocked the heck out of me, at least. There the dream ended... How it changed my life:We lost some really great musicians, like Denver and Croce... the 70's seem like they were just yesterday. I've learned a new respect for John Denver as recently I've been trying to learn "Starry, Starry Night".
