~~~Hello Everyone! A Update on the Life of Bruiex~~~{Big Blogg}

Sorry that I haven't been doing much here in a while just some 10- 15 minute post reading and short comments. I blame USM.

Why? Because it was this site that changed my life for the better and allowed me to pull myself out of a dead end and start life anew.

Here's the skinny, documented in many a post during this period.I was fired in April 2008 and spent the year on unemployment.Jobs were scarce and especially one's for ex-felons.I ranted and vented all of my frustration and misery here and because of that; Fiery Mom of 2, another USMr going through tragic personal losses and monetary struggles of her own made a proposal that benefited both of us greatly.

She heard the voice of her late father speaking to her and bucking all "warnings" about becoming room mates with "a guy you met over the internet" she invited me to combine forces to better both our lives.

April 2009, almost exactly one year later from losing my job as a welder,I started work at Pilgrim's Pride, the chicken company.She started working for Cloud 10 as a internet troubleshooter for Comcast.

We have had our ups and downs but our quality of life is so much better and so has her two boys.We work hard and both bring something to the table.The boys have me now as their Guardian and I enjoy filling that male mentor role, since I have no children of my own.Next weekend is Dad and Lad; a Boy Scout event in which Jacob her youngest asked me to go with him.

Things have been So Busy that I haven't had time to post at all but when things settle down, I'm going to, promise.Heck me and Meli just got back from Mardi Gras in New Orleans, My favorite team the Saints went to the Super Bowl and my vow to go if they went has been fulfilled.

Now the rest of the news.

We just Closed on a New House and are in the process of having the old one moved on property for storage and bring a 4 bedroom manufactered home that is Huge with a fireplace, a 60 inch tub and central heat and air.Less than one year of my arrival here. I also won a judgment on my Student Loan and had it dismissed and my past taxes refunded, Meli had a big tax return and we are taking advantage of the new home buyer's tax credit. We will get that in a few months.

Life is Great! Be it super busy or not. I now have a new love interest in a native american lady who left her corporate life to reconnect with her land of her tribe the Choctaw-Apache. Now if we can get Meli a love connection,Life will be even better.
