Texting Dream

Let me start out by saying I'm not a big time text message user so I'm not sure why I had this dream but it sure did annoy me. The dream started out with me being asleep in bed and it was early morning it looked like but still dark and my mobile phone vibrated like someone was calling me or I had gotten a message. I picked it up and unlocked it and it showed that I had one message from a person I hadn't thought of in a long time. I accessed the message and it said, "Hey, I need to show you something, meet me by the bridge close to downtown!" Having to leave a warm bed in the early morning was not really what I wanted to do but I got up anyway and went downtown, when I was almost there, I received another text message just as I was tuning my radio as a good song came on. It was the same person and this time they said something like, "I had to go further into the woods to let you see what I found, hurry!" I came to the bridge and saw the woods which were completely dark and if this wasn't a dream I never would have entered anything like that while I am sane in the early morning hours. Yet, I pushed through overgrown weeds and stepped over fallen tree trunks deep into the forest until I realized that I had become lost. Somehow, I had a light following me it wasn't from my mobile phone or a fire but I can't really explain it. My phone sounded again and it was a text message from the same person, this time it just said, "HELP!" At that time, I just got a really creeped out feeling and started running to where I thought I had left my car but it led me further into the woods where it was even darker. I saw a faint light on the ground a few feet ahead from where I had stopped and I ran toward it. It was a mobile phone and it was showing the message "HELP!" had just been sent. As I was examining the phone, I heard a branch break behind me. As I was turning around I got a faint glimpse of something that was not human put something over my head and everything went black.

After I started thinking about it, a message is clear. Don't just follow something with your head down, look up every now and then to watch where you're going. Maybe this dream was due to me getting aggravated by texting drivers...
