My heart pours out to you and your family. My dad had the same thing, after decades of battling ulcers of the stomach and surgery to remove several of his worst ulcers. I think the stomach cancer came after all the irritation of the stomach lining. Has your dad had problems like that for years? There are many types of treatment he can look into. My dad went through radiation treatments, and even what they called 'Hot Shots' of radiation directly to the cancer. I wish I could tell you that there are cures for this, but sadly I don't think there are. The doctors have probably already told your dad what things he can do. With all the treatments my dad did, he probably extended his life by 6 or 8 months. That was a little more time we had with him, at least. Please let us know how he is doing over the next few months. I really care, and I know this is going to be an extremely difficult thing to go through. My Prayers are with your dad, your whole family and yourself.  ...  |

@}~~ I am so sorry you and your family are going through this, I just lost my mom last month and it was unexpected, you have time with your dad right now so try and take advantage of every moment you get to spend with him. This is going to be a very hard time for you all but find strength in each other and remember you always have USM to turn to as well. {{{HUGS}}}   |
