Recently its come to my attention that everything I have been looking for is right before me. Like wanting to meet people in the local community, network for my career and become a well rounded person. It hit me like a ton of bricks: get off your butt and do something. So recently I decided that I'm going to volunteer for more stuff outside my normal circle.
Things outside my personal unit/office. More basewide stuff, meeting people from other units. And volunteering in the local community. Since I'm not a religious person, I'm going to volunteer for big brother big sister. And I also want to find civillian paces to meet people.
