i heard it wasnt the house itself that was haunted but the land the house was on. They moved the actual house to another location and noone has had problems  |

Although those murders occurred there. An investigating team of ghost hunters went to visit the Amityville house and did not find too much to brag about. This was around three years ago.  |

I don't think they moved the house, they gave it a new address, instead of 112 Ocean View I believe itis now 415 Ocean View.  |

Ive always wondered about this place. Was Defoe just crazy or was he actually hearing voices telling him to kill his family? Supposedly the Lutz were liars and just wanted to make money from this place but I still believe there were a lot of strange things that probably happened. We will probably never know for sure.  |
