Here's the thing, as I see it. Man(kind) has from our very inception been unkind (sometimes downright brutal) toward our fellow Man(kind). We could too easily allow ourselves to be drawn into a state of mourning over the grief of some of the horror stories we hear. And I have heard more than my fair share, sometimes from people who witnessed it. Sometimes from those that participated in atrocities. For a natural "sensitive", this is a type of hell. I truly "feel" and experience things during these types of discussions. (Clarification: discussions with people who have witnessed/participated in some very bad things). But here is the bottom line. We accomplish nothing, NOTHING ie: Not-One-Thing, when we allow ourselves to become depressed, or weighed-down by Humankind's inhumanity to each other. What we can do is to be as kind, and compassionate to everyone as we can. And when it is not possible to be kind, stay away from those that we feel ill-will toward. I can give you clinical reasons to explain certain behaviors. But, I will never, EVER, understand why certain crimes against humanity happen. What we can do, is leave the best carbon footprint we can on this world, so when we are gone, maybe we helped make a difference. But we cannot allow ourselves to be frustrated & depressed by another's behavior. Find the balance between caring, and being able to distance yourself from the mental pain.  |

One final thought, when a person needs to talk about the evil that they did, when they need to share what they saw, and did-I am there for them. I listen, I care, and I let them do what they must to heal. On a g-rated site, I cannot share some of what I have been told.BUT, I can say, that those that at one time did those things (most) do eventually remember their own humanity. That gives me hope. |

Lucifer is winning? Whether the devil is causing you to worry or not, it is his goal for you to fear. Doesn't mean he is winning though. Jesus Christ has won over the devil, God has won but needs to leave humanity with free will yet and subject to sin. And of course the devil is defeated but still more an enemy than ever. It may be that the tribulation will come toward the end of the age, when the devil knows his time is short, and even more of the devil's minions may be loosed then. But after those days peace will come as the prince of peace will reign. As it was in the days of Noah, so will the coming of the son of man be... |
