Thank you all. Bruce just picked out a wonderful spot for her underneath a giant cedar tree in the field she loved to play in the most, and we just buried her. I gave the boys and our other dog a chance to say goodbye before she was laid to rest. I'm happy that she's no longer suffering even as my heart aches to have her back here with us...So soon after losing BeBe was just a double whammy.  |

I'm sorry. Lost my cat of twelve years last month the same way. He was hit by a car, but there was nothing the vet could do to try and save him. My eighteen month old grandson still looks for the cat when he cames to visit me not old enough to understand and it breaks my heart. Pets become part of our family over time and we miss them when they are gone, but we get through it somehow. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers, and again I'm sorry for your loss.  |
