Date: 6/6/2009 7:42:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 63201 Thank you all so much! I certainly hope she continues to improve too, I've been worried sick about my little girl. |
Date: 6/6/2009 7:53:00 PM From Authorid: 1799 She might start eating when you get the chance to see her. Ask your vet if its possible for you to see her, even if she's in one of the recovery kennels because maybe she needs to see you to know you're still there and worrying about her, and she might eat for you. |

She's alittle fighter and when I picked her up off the side of the street, I could tell the damage was severe and didn't know if she would make it but prayers and the soul of chi-chi have been strong and effective.I have really grown fond of her since I have been here and am so glad to know she could pull through. We raced to the Vet's office and the speed in which wew got her there has been a major factor. We should never stop giving 100% to our pets during a crisis. We had to give her a chance and if we would have waited in a helpless attitude she would have certainly have dies just from the shock. Ryan prtted her there the whole way and he is a big lover of animals.I am going to do everything in my power to help him open a animal shelter because that's what he wants to do with his life. This experience will strengthen his resolve to never give up and to be there. I agree we should go down and see her so she might eat. |

Date: 6/7/2009 10:08:00 AM From Authorid: 36901 I hope one of you will update and let us know how she's doing after you visit her. |
Date: 6/7/2009 12:18:00 PM From Authorid: 46527 Poor little thing, glad to hear the surgery went well. |
Date: 6/7/2009 12:26:00 PM From Authorid: 35178 Ask the vet if you can go visit her. My cat did the same thing when she was on the road to recovery. Everything was better but she wouldn't eat. They finally let me take her home and she ate like a pig. ChiChi could be doing the same thing. |
Date: 6/7/2009 8:04:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 63201 The vet just called me a little bit ago, her vitals are all real good, temperature and heart are stable, but she's still not eating...We're hoping that by going to see her tomorrow, she'll quit being depressed and eat some. She's still not out of the woods yet, if she'd just eat, things would look a lot better. I may ask if I can take her home tomorrow or Tuesday. Thanks so much for the ongoing prayers and thoughts. *hugs and love* |
Date: 6/8/2009 6:52:00 AM From Authorid: 24673 Wow! I've been away for a few days and didn't know about this--so very happy to hear all is going well. Boy, that's a lot of stressful worry, we love our animals so much. |
