Do you have Opportunity shops over there? Umm, what would you call them??? Places where they sell second hand clothing etc. Maybe you could buy some boots and spray paint them red. I mean if it's only for a one off wear, you should spend as little as possible.  |

Thanks Angi, I updated my post, I can't wear anything over a 3 inch heel..I'm too off-balance, short, and fat for that LOL I've had left knee surgery, and 5 right foot surgeries, so heels above 3 inches are off limits for me. I've thought about spray painting them but I really don't want to go that route either...I found some "wide calf" boots but they're in black. Bleh...Why can't I have the perfect 14" calf? LOL  |

Take a trip to e-bay, that's where I tend to find good bargains. Right now it's 8:04 in the morning here in the UK, I've been writing on the computer for 9 hours straight and I'm rather cross-eyed. Search gothic boots online too, there are plenty of places where you can buy last year's stock at greatly reduced prices. I'll have a better look myself when I've had a couple of hours sleep.
