Things are going great! ~FieryMomOf2~

Well at least in my opinion they are. Bruiex moved in last week and has been nonstop working around this house. A workaholic, I tell you! *grins* My kids like him, which is usually my "gauge" for how I react to people and places. If it works for my kiddos, it works for me.

I just hope we haven't driven him crazy with our little quirks and this incredibly cluttered house. I know it's a lot of work ahead! I'm not the most motivated person in the world, and I need to change that. Growing up, I was quite spoiled, never had to do a thing for myself. I see the same habit repeating in my children, and it's time to put a stop to it NOW. Having a male role model around the house has changed their attitudes quite a bit. They have someone to do "guy" stuff with, and that just thrills them to no end.

So all of you that were concerned, you can put your fears to rest. Things are going just fine and I think this is going to work out fantastically. I feel confident with the choice and offer I made, and I hope you feel the same way, Bruce.

Life is going swimmingly! :)

*hugs and love*

Melissa

Won't it be nice Melissa to get things put back together when Bru gets done with the "fixing up" he is doing? Do you remember the song, "It's so nice to have a man around the house!" lol. Good Luck!
Date: 3/28/2009 7:57:00 AM  From Authorid: 23075    so are you two an 'item' now. Just curious. I hope everything works out the way you want.
Date: 3/28/2009 8:43:00 AM  From Authorid: 51876    Not the last time I checked Paddy Bear.We are business partners into the future. The potential for generating wealth for once in our lives is the most important thing. The only way for a person like me to make it is On My Own, which is very hard to do being a city boy, moving to the country outside a small town with the peace and serenity of the woods and the cows grazing on the property.

Not the sound of handguns, screeching tires, salicious laughter throughout the night.Drunks and gang members on every corner. It's all about Thugs in Fort Worth and Dallas.
Hasn't anyone seen the show COPS, Fort Worth has been on more than any other city.

Seen many a shootout in the streets, had to fight for my life on the streets.Ya'll really don't know me here at USM.

I really have come from a seriously violent past, if it wasn't for the love of my granny Dot and my friendships that have been positive force for change.
It's important to me that young men stay away from drugs, especiallly hard stuff. It ruins lives as fast as it touchs them.
My hippie demeanor and love of nature makes me happy. Those things are found in those piney woods of Gilmer,TX

Melissa is Great and we both have obstacles to overcome in life, as friends..I will write a post soon detailing how in my life through friendships have recreated my non exisiting relationships with my real brothers and sisters who I essentially raised until the final divorce when I was 17.
I have been on the couch.learned a lot.slepted there for years.

Date: 3/28/2009 10:17:00 AM  From Authorid: 11240    Glad to hear that this working relationship has clicked on all 4 cylinders so far.

God Bless.

Date: 3/28/2009 11:16:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 63201    Thanks everyone *giggles* No Paddy we're not an "item"...Just 2 people in a hard time trying to help each other out. We've both been through some rough times in our lives, and this just seems to work. Unexplainable, but it does And yes Bru we need to get some pics up soon, I agree!
Date: 3/28/2009 11:44:00 AM  From Authorid: 14909    It is quite a change from chaos to tranquility. I went through the same thing when I was younger when I lived in Dayton, Ohio. I'll never go back if possible. We moved out to the country and I love it. Oh we still have our lil crime sprees from time to time but it's better than the city. Enjoy the peace Bruce.
Date: 3/28/2009 5:47:00 PM  From Authorid: 36901    I'm glad things are working out so well. I had to drop my MIL off at DFW last night. I should have messaged you guys. We could have went to dinner or something. Maybe next time.
