plans of launching an electromagnetic pulse attack against USA & Solar Storms

An EMP attack on America's electronic infrastructure, caused by the detonation of a nuclear weapon high above the U.S., would bring the country to its knees.

EMP attacks are generated when a nuclear weapon is detonated at altitudes above a few dozen kilometers above the earth's surface. The explosion, of even a small nuclear warhead, would produce a set of electromagnetic pulses that interact with the earth's atmosphere and the earth's magnetic field. Such an attack – by Iran or China – could cripple the U.S. by knocking out electrical power, computers, circuit boards controlling most automobiles and trucks, banking systems, communications and food and water supplies.

Something else I read about that "supposedly" leaked out from some woman who works for a domestic security force. She's revealed that the government is planning for massive solar storms that cause month long blackouts across the world in 2012. She has stocked up her pond and is storing chicken from her coop in her freezer. She's also storing fuel for her generator. She doesn't want her identity revealed or that this story was leaked through her organization..... of course.

She says soon they'll be restricting travel in the United States and there will be mandatory curfews.

Could this be an engineered dilemma or the government actually preparing people for something that is actually coming? There is also babble of Nibiru, but this supposed source/woman didn't mention that.

Well if this really begins, then I can't say I didn't hear about it before hand.
