Hmm, interesting. Well then perhaps it has been visited before? I'm curious to see what they say about this, that little watch thing doesn't even look real? |

I agree with MoonAngel, it looks like it was carved and not something that ever really functioned. of course, it'd be cool if it was really 400 years old but would make it better is if the watch was still ticking and really 400 years old. Personally, I'd take that as proof of alien technology from 400 years ago and wonder what technology the aliens would bury in the dirt to be discovered 100s of years after I am long gone... |

And just how in the world have the discovered the time it stopped on was a.m. and not p.m. hmmm? Maybe it's so small I can't see an a.m./p.m. display area but I found that to be an odd part of the article |

All the info I can find of this at the moment is not verifable. No museum or college is saying anything about the site where this was found. The timeline is accurate because Swiss started making watchs in the early 1600's because John Calvin (Calvinists) banned jewelry so the Swiss turned to watchs. The Ming Dynasty was also ruling at that time, concerning the tomb excavation. The watchs type was one that is similar to on in 1938.It could have been left there then by graverobbers or a rodent took it. It doesn't take long for something to get buried. That said it still seems like a calculated Hoax because the watch hands are set at 10:02 just like all Watch Ads.Check it out, you'll see Good Post all around, gave me something different to research other than the CIA conspiracy world that just consumes me now.Peace |

This reminds me of the book Timeline by Michael Crichton. The book starts with some modern eye glasses found in an archaeological excavation in France. Great book if you need something to read during the holidays. It would seem to me that this site must have been opened before and people didn't realize it. |

I'll go with the guess that someone was probably inside the tomb before. |
