Being an American means that we control our destiny. We have not only the right but the duty to become informed and make the right decisions and vote into office people that will take into account all of us. Our children in the armed forces do not fight for the rich, the poor or the middle class they fight for all of us. We as a nation are growing an learning all the time. We need to look back in order to see where the arrow was shot from, calculate the angle, speed an trajectory to know where it is going to land. The same goes for our own Government, look back see where we came from so we can know where we are going. It might be too late to stop some of the things that have happened and some our own arrows have hit our own families, jobs, retirement and futures. We can and should make wise decisions today so that we never make mistakes like we have in the past. Being an American should mean we want the best for America, not some of the people all of the time or all of the people some of the time, but all of the people all of the time. |
