Wondrous winter city

This dream took place in a city that I recognized as Lubbock, TX, but after traveling through it, I realized that it was far bigger and advanced than it is. I started off in the city library and I was looking at some books when I realized that it was getting late so I called my father and I told him that I needed to be picked up as it was starting to snow. He told me that I shouldn't have rode my bike and that I need to get home now and that was the end of the conversation. I tried riding my bike at first and got a few blocks and then I realized both tires were flat. I tried getting on the bus but they wouldn't let me on with my bike. I tried walking with the bike but it was too far and it was getting darker. I did notice though that the sunset was so beautiful with the snow falling (?). I started looking for gas stations so I could get some air but most of them were closed. I finally found one and put air and I was off again. I noticed that I was taking routes through the buildings several stories up which is totally bizarre as I've never heard of bike routes connecting buildings before but it sure was beautiful to look down and see the city below. I don't remember if I ever made it home but it sure was a long way and was a really big city, really futuristic.

It didn't change my life but the city was so beautiful and the snow falling and the reddish-orange sunset was really impressive.
