I've only known one kid that had to wear one and didn't know him well... he was a classmate of my son's... he wore it all the time at school, so I never saw his actual head, but it didn't seem to bother him at all. And I don't know if he wore it for reshaping, or if it was because he had muscle problems and fell down a lot. Good luck with everything |

I think it's used for shaping the head, but if its looks as if its a halo, then the child has been hurt. But,i knew this lady who had a child and the head was pointed in the back, not rounded, and this child wore a wide band for several months. |

I should have worded it better, I guess. I know what a DOC band since we are currently waiting for my sons to be made. We'll be getting it on Aug. 4th. AO for the cranialtech site you suggested, that is the company we are actually dealing with and getting the band from. I'm curious if anyone elses child had to wear one and how they coped with it. |
