Hey Everyone...well needless to say, things have been extremely crazy lately. I don't usually ask for prayers all that often but sure could use anything you guys can do right now.
1) My grandmother isn't doing very well. Grant it, she will be 99 in a couple weeks but its still sad and if she was to pass away, I want her to go peacefully and painless. She's hardly eating, she has congestive heart failure which she's had for quite some time, her memory is going bad, etc. Its only a matter of time now.
UPDATE: My grandmother has been put on oxygen today to help her breathe better. But of course she's stubborn and says she doesn't need it. LOL
2) My husbands grandfather....he's currently in the hospital right now also not doing well. He had some fluid in his lungs 2 days ago and from what I heard yesterday they were fine. One doctor basically said that he would just make him 'comfortable' but my husbands uncle who takes care of him found another doctor who is going to do something about it and try and fix the problem. So prayers for him would be greatly appreciated as well.
These two grandparents are the last ones that we have left. :(
3) A good friend of ours who is also a coworker of my husband is currently in the hospital. About a week ago she had baby twin girls. soo cute. Anyway, these two little girls are true miracles. After many years of trying and many complications etc she finally became pregnant with the twin. They were released last saturday to go home. Well she ended up back in the hospital like 3 or 4 times now for high blood pressure and the news we got this morning is she isn't doing well at all and someone heard something about congestive heart failure, but I'm not 100% sure if thats true or not. Please pray that she will be fine and be able to raise her girls that she has wanted for so long.
UPDATE: Earlier today she was on a respirator 100%, last we heard she is doing well and it was down to 55% and now 45% as of about a half hour ago. She was diagnosed with post pardom cardio miopothy (sp?)
4) I took my son Stephen to a cranialfacial doctor the other day and he will need to get a DOC band (helmet) to round out his head. I was upset about this at first and felt like I failed him. I'm feeling better about it being its more and more common now that children sleep on their backs etc and that it is what it is. My biggest fear is someone making fun of him for having to wear it because I will flip because I feel like we could have prevented it by maybe more tummy time or something. When in reality, thats not always the case. I'm trying to get over it and just accept it. But please pray that it will all work out for the best.
5) Just a little extra prayer that my liver is healing and when I go back for a follow up ultrasound or ct scan in a few months that it is better and I will be given the ok to have another child.
I think thats it for now. Like I said, things have been hectic lately and all prayers, chants, thoughts, etc are appreciated.
