Had my liver biopsy on friday.....*IP*

And all I can say about it is.....I HIGHLY DON'T RECOMMEND IT. Ya I wanted to punch the doctor. LOL But I was a trooper and toughed it out. After I had to stay there on my back for 4 hours because he had to go in through my back not my side. When I was lying there he came in the room and I was joking with my husband and was like 'he hurt me, beat him up' and the doctor started laughing and asked how I was doing.

At first they did an ultrasound but he couldn't see the specific nodule they were trying to biopsy so they decided to do it by ct scan. I was on my back and they scanned me through and he still couldn't see it well so they wanted me to turn onto my stomach. As I stated turning I was on my right side and he was like that might work...so they scanned me through again and I guess he was able to see it well. Next thing I know he was going in through my back. OUCH.

The whole day started where the night before I got a phone call that they wanted me to come in at 7 am instead of 9 so they can start early and I can be out earlier then later being I had to lay there for 4 hours after. Well it was me and this other guy there at first and when they finally brought me down into the room to have the biopsy done the other guy was in the room as well and we were divided by a curtain. They worked on him first and I guess they were doing a biopsy on his thyroid. During that another doctor came in and wanted my doctor to look at something. He said to give him 5 minutes as he finished up the other guy. After he was done he left with the guy and the next thing we knew they got called into an emergency so they had to take me back into the other room to wait. After about a half hour or so they brought me back down. Thats when the doctor looked at the ultrasound pics that were taken earlier when I was down there and he decided to go the ct scan route...the rest you know.

As of right now....from what I know I should have the results around Wednesday. Will keep you all posted. :)
