Dark Man apparition

I have very been sick for more than a week and was sitting in my recliner chair watching TV late at night. Its so depressing to be that sick for so long and I was silently telling Jesus that I was in gratitude for all that I do have and for my normal good health, that I want back, if he could just reach inside of me and pull this sickness out of me. I swear, at the other end of the living room, in front of my son's door that was closed, I saw a very tall apparition, dark yet well defined. I wasn't scared but when I sort of refocused my eyes there was nothing. Suddenly after a few minutes, my son opened the door to his room and told me his ceiling light blew up in his room and there was smoke. I have never seen an apparition before, so I can only guess that maybe its a guide coming to check me since I was asking for help. Anyone else have ideas about its appearance and the fact that my son's light blew up?

It is the first time I saw something ghostly. It was tall, but I never saw the bottom of him, so he may have well been floating off the ground and just seemed tall.
