Resignations [[[[[Coast2CoastAMfan™ ]]]]]

This is sort of a vent, but there are alot of good questions in here... Why do all the GOOD teachers have to quit? Like in my school there have been about 25 teachers in the past year that have quit. Why? To me its odd, that 25 teachers would either quit or leave, without warning or reason. I have known things that I probably shouldnt have, and I have spoken to someone about it, someone who i thought of as a nice guy, friendly, and funny. Well as i started explaining how I felt, he quickly jumped up, put each hand on the arms of my chair, and in a low, stern, almost threatening voice, told me, "You better, stay out of this one! It will get you no where, and dont even think about going higher in the line of command, because I myself will force transition you!!" Meaning kick me out for good. I know something bad is happening, i feel the tention between teachers, and I know what teachers dont get along, I dont say anything obviously, because its no ones business. But I do know that 10 of my favorite teachers have quit. There was a nurse here, who i would visit every morning, same time, she was in her 70's. She would tell me how she loved her job, and how she loved seeing the students everyday. She would always tell me, "Ill see you tomorrow, same time and same place." She said that the day before she quit. The next day I came in, and another nurse had told me she left last night, and wouldnt be back. I knew that she was planning on retiring in May, but What a way to go out, after working everyday for 15 years, to just quit 2 months before your retiring date. I know something happened that night, because that woman puts up with alot, she never showed one bit of frustration, she would always tell me tricks to reduce my anger level, and she'd always say, its not worth it to get angry. So why did she get angry and leave?? Thats what I want to know! I know all the nice teachers, with unique teaching styles get in trouble here, and are either forced to quit, or are fired. To me its wrong, if students are having fun learning, why make that teahcers job miserable?
