Oily complexion remedies???? .................... ~Dina

I was wondering if any of you have any home remedies or a good product you can tell me about for an oily complexion.

My face is majorly oily. It's like SHINY SHINY. I have tried Mary Kay and i've been using The Body Shops skin care. It hasn't worked. I was told by one of the workers to try the tea tree mattifying moisturizer first, because it can dry out my face. HA i wish. It's still oily and icky.

I have thought of going to a dermatoligist, but wanted to see if any of you can give me some options before I go off and see one. Thanks :)

Date: 2/5/2008 9:34:00 PM  From Authorid: 15070    Try Dr. Thayers Witch Hazel w/ Rosewater. It helps me when my skin gets uber-oily. BTW-the upside to an oily complexion, is when you are older, you will get less wrinkles. I am 47 yrs old, and have the face of a thirty year old.

Date: 2/5/2008 9:37:00 PM  From Authorid: 15070    Remember to remove any make-up you wear every night, don't use soap & water (it will increase oil production), and instead of "base" make-up, maybe just use rice powder.

Date: 2/6/2008 3:10:00 AM  From Authorid: 3901    i LOVE clean and clear's oil absorbing sheets http://www.cleanandclear.com/productDetail.do?productid=46&productpos=940 they work awsomely to get rid of excessive oil throughout the day and are easy to carry in your purse or pocket.. a little pricey though.
Date: 2/6/2008 6:53:00 AM  From Authorid: 27735    Get on Ebay and by some African Black Soap. I got my exchange student to use it and her skin is beautiful now. If it gets to dry buy some shea butter and put it on lightly. This stuff isn't expensive and you can even buy it by the pound. Yep!!!!
