Her eyes searched the the highway
as she drove through the dark
she was wounded , he had broke her heart.
a new girl friend ,from another town ,
in his pocket her name address, and number she found
as she drove tears flowed from her eyes
tonight she'd confront him , put a ended to all his lies!
she'd follow the highway straight to her door
and tell her she can have him she didn't want him no more!
two hours of driving , to a strange place ,
her journey will end when she look's into their face 's,
she watched for his car ,for night was passing quick
she didnt want to pass him on the highway ,
up ahead a semi jacked knifed in the curve of the road
she slamed on her brakes ,but lost control...
the noise of metal and glass echoed out ,
she screamed but nothing came out ,
her mangled body somehow felt no pain
a man raced to her and shouted are you ok?
she spoke , deaf words silent , unheard
the man pulled her body from the car
in the headlights ,he saw her face ,
it tore through his cheating heart ,
his own wife lay dead in his arms ,
in her hand she clentched a piece of paper so tight,
he thought why was she on this highway tonight ?
and he took the paper from her hand
there was the address , name and number of his lover
in black and white ,he cheated on her ,now he's lost
her forever his Darling wife.....
