This just isn't right,
for a woman who shines so bright.
She hides from deep inside,
at night she hurts and cryes.
She gives so much within her day,
but when nightfalls, she is not okay.
Her insides no longer strive,
the world to her was not so kind.
She has a child to raise alone,
scratching so hard to make a home.
Her love and careing is all that's left,
overbearing, she knows not what's best.
Her child blind to all of her pain,
in time the child will be not the same.
The mother is dieing and nobody cares,
Why must God hurt the only ones that share?
She has not the money for hospital bills,
isn't it funny how society kills?
