This is very hard for me to type, as i am shaking and in tears. this happened just over an hour ago. but first i have to say that i was not close with my grandmother before she died. infact the day of her death i needed to borrow some money for my son and i to make the rent payment on time. she told me to get another job. i felt helpless but my son still gave her a hug goodbye. i cursed at her as i ran out of the room. my grandmother was once a fun person, but got bitter in her old age. we lost grandpa about a year before, and she had to have all of her teeth removed. she had to have dentures. she refused to wear them. only when company would be by.
she soon died a few nights later in her sleep. she was old, and it was of natural causes. i had some of my friends help to clean up the old house. the only thing. i could think of doing for money would be to have a yardsale of the things in the house. well i just got back from there this afternoon.
here is what happened. i was cleaning in her bedroom when i noticed her dentures in a glass of water on the nightstand. i thought nothing of it until i looked in the mirror on the headboard. what i saw was the reflection of those false teeth moving about in the glass. i then heard my grandmother very clearly say to look behind the painting next to the dresser. when i turned to look back at the glass the dentures were gone!!!
... i looked behind the painting and there were 10 one hundred dollar bills taped to the back! i heard a really loud thud and the mirror cracked. now although i have money i will have seven years of bad luck.
