Ragged clothes hung on his bent
Body, the old man could barely see.
Sobbing, he strained through
pale eyes to see the hand
favoring his shoulder.His
spirit awakened when a warm touch
manuevered his body upright.
Bent no more,body painless and
head straight and strong, he
chuckled for the first time in years.
Brightness filled his eyes,
and flashing before him,angel's fluttering wings
took him away.
