I have not seen anything outrageous, it's just the simple fact it happened. That outrages me! |

It's all to the point of over saturation. The repeated, How do you feel? questions being the worst. All they want is a reaction or a sound bite or better yet some tears. How do you feel? Heck I don't even know how I feel and I'm not connected to anyone who died. I just hate the media at times and in particlar hate all the people who are about to come out of the woodwork and capitalize politically on this. |

Bad Taste is the more descriptive term, I believe. Anyway, I saw a father of a victim describe his murdered son as "the best son he had", when he still has another son alive. I think it is in extreme bad taste to put people on TV just for the purpose of filling up time 24 hours, with no thought to the consequensces. I just hope the other son doesn't turn out like the perpetrator . . . And, I probably shouldn't be perpetrating his comment, but it just struck me as AARGH. God Bless. |

It is all getting so crazy.....seems like they are deifying the shooter with so much focus on who he was and everything.....the guy's a murderer....I would rather see the coverage about those who were good citizens ....doing it right....and are now gone..... |

BCAR as you know I compete every weekend....in all kinds of challenging scenarios......I can't imagine the helplessness of knowing you got a crazed killer shooting at you and killing people all around you....and you have to act....there were heros....lets deify them and quit birthing the recognition of every detail of this killer. |

I haven't watched the news since about 6 yesterday, I can't stomach it anymore. By even airing the video and pictures they are going to make him a cult hero to certain, slightly deranged people. In a strange way it reminded me of a you tube video. There is no "need to know" about his "manifesto" as they call it, whatever that means to the media. Don Imus gets fired for a rude comment that the public's ears are to tender for, yet we can show a mass killer over and over and over? NBC and the rest of the media gave him what he wanted. |

I really dont see any reason why they shouldnt show the images. we have the right to know/see whatever we want (within reason) = I just think it's up to us whether we want to be subjected to it or not. Does it always make it right? no. |

I think that the media should self censor with regard to the video and pictures that the deranged murderer sent them. To me, it verges on criminal to show those. It will just set some other mental case off so he can have his videos shown. |

Here's a funny one--yesterday on MSNBC when the story first broke about the documents--split screen--tiny box with Tucker Carlson, small box with former FBI profiler---taking up 3/4 of the screen is picture of cho holding two pistols--Tucker asks FBI agent if they should be showing those pictures---FBI agent says No--than they move on to talk about everything in the "manifesto"--showing the same picture taking up most the screen for about 5 minutes. |

Hey 32 Degree.......got a question for you from your professional background my friend. I know there was some articles (and I can't recite them so forgive) about the effects of the prevailance of violence in the month of April and contributing factors. Have you any recall or knowledge about this. Especially with the potential of copycat stuff with all the media. |

I can't recall anything outstanding about the month of April and a correlation to violent behavior. Just to mention, a "full moon" and violent behavior, admissions to psychiatric hospitals, emergency rooms, etc. seems to have a direct relationship Wise. Wish I could be more helpful. |
