First Impression

Dirty brown shirt, buttons missing, the old man leaned against the tree. Unshaven, decayed teeth, sunken eyes, through life worn eyes, he looked at me.

Crooked back, skinny legs,knarled fingers, a picture of fading life hanging by a thread. He will ask me for a dime, I thought. "Good afternoon young man. God bless you , " he said.
