I am in the 3rd month of my pregnancy, and the morning sickness just got extremely bad last wednesday. I have been throwing up every day since then, I can't really keep anything down. I am sooo Hungry!! And sick of throwing up. If any one knows something or anything that could help me please suggets it.

When this is over.... I can't wait to eat and keep it down. I will have steak, and shrimp. and so many other things.

Is it normal to get this sick?

Date: 3/1/2006 8:22:00 PM  From Authorid: 45397    have you tried the unsalted crackers and water thing before getting out of bed?
Date: 3/1/2006 8:33:00 PM  From Authorid: 53052    have you tried gravol(not too positive if it's safe to use when pregnant) ginger teas help, if you hit a pregnancy/baby store there is a thing called preggo pops what help with morning(though i tend to call it mourning) sickness, you can try ginger ale, there is also something called "sea bands" you can buy at any drugstore what i've met many woman who RAVE about them
Date: 3/1/2006 8:37:00 PM  From Authorid: 53052    here's thier website...you can find out where they are sold from the website http://www.threelollies.com/ (though after reading up a bit more reviews they dont work for everyone.. some people say sucking on a hard candy will give you the same results as a preggie pop)
Date: 3/1/2006 8:37:00 PM  From Authorid: 7830    i heard through the grapevine that pften morning sickness is a vitamin B defeciency so i would take vitamin B supplements daily and it got rid of my morning sicknes...never threw up. maue sure whatever you buy has vitamin C in it too cause that helps with absorption.
Date: 3/1/2006 8:40:00 PM  From Authorid: 53052    oh also when i'm dealing with an upset tummy in general.. i often have carrots, carrots do help(though i cook them instead of having them raw so they are soft)
Date: 3/1/2006 8:47:00 PM  From Authorid: 42945    I hope you are keeping your fluids up hun otherwise you will get dehydrated with all that vomiting ....I never suffered with morning sickness like that though...*hugs*

Date: 3/1/2006 9:34:00 PM  From Authorid: 14754    talk to your dr. they can give you something for that.
Date: 3/1/2006 9:40:00 PM  From Authorid: 16671    Go get some meds, cause you dont want to get dehydrated as you could lose the baby.
Date: 3/1/2006 9:55:00 PM  From Authorid: 16845    If you can't keep ANYTHING down...or just little amounts of liquid talk to your OB...they can prescribe stuff for you to help out. (I know some women don't like the idea...but sometimes it's all that helps) only other thing that helped me was taking a hot shower and laying down so the water was hitting my stomach...wierd I know but it worked....
Date: 3/1/2006 9:56:00 PM  From Authorid: 16845    Also eating something high in protein before bed seemed to help for a little while as well...eating small but more frequent meals..
