The best gift I ever got at home was probably when I was 14. Hiking boots were in style to wear every day and I wanted a pair badly. They were like $40 bucks and there was no way my mom could spend that much on all of us. She knew I wanted a pair badly so she had saved for them for me. I know it means she did without stuff(we were extremely poor) but it meant so much to me. I was one of the kids that never had anything stylish.
My favorite Christmas memory would be a tie. One was the last Christmas we had before my sister died. It was the last Christmas we all had together. There was about 35 family members there. Another is Christmas 2002. My husband proposed to me next to the Christmas tree. We went to my moms house that day and he told me he wanted to talk to me about something later.
