Your best Christmas

What was the best gift you ever received for Christmas? What was the best you ever gave? Also share your favorite Christmas memory. This should be fun. I am in the holiday spirit.

The best gift I ever got at home was probably when I was 14. Hiking boots were in style to wear every day and I wanted a pair badly. They were like $40 bucks and there was no way my mom could spend that much on all of us. She knew I wanted a pair badly so she had saved for them for me. I know it means she did without stuff(we were extremely poor) but it meant so much to me. I was one of the kids that never had anything stylish.

My favorite Christmas memory would be a tie. One was the last Christmas we had before my sister died. It was the last Christmas we all had together. There was about 35 family members there. Another is Christmas 2002. My husband proposed to me next to the Christmas tree. We went to my moms house that day and he told me he wanted to talk to me about something later. I was like good or bad? he was like good unless it dont go the way I plan. I pretty much knew but I acted surprised lol.

For years now I've been into photography but always had to use those dinky disposable ones you got at wal-mart lol. Best gift I ever gave...probably a certain perfume that I gave to my best friend a few years ago (her mom was really low on money that year and that was one of the top things on her list that she wanted, so I got it for her). And the best xmas memory I can remember...I don't know, I've never had any that were bad but I can't remember any that were particularly spectacular either. Maybe this year will be my best lol.
Date: 11/28/2005 9:07:00 AM  From Authorid: 35531    The best gift I ever received was seeing the excitement in my daughters eyes at Christmas Morning opening gifts. The most memorable Christmas was the time I was dressed in a Santa suit putting together bikes for my daughters. It was of course late but I was making so much noise that the girls woke up. They came into the den and screamed with excitement. There mother took them back to bed. The next morning, the girls were ever so happy to tell me of their Santa siteing. Also that Santa wore a watch just like me!!!!!!!!
