I think it is ridiculous to go about this the way they do, trying to convince them their parents are horrible when recently some PETA members have themselves been brought up on charges of animal cruelty!  |

There was a thing on CNN the other night about this. They has a PETA member and the BASS Masters champion on the show. The PETA rep was a total jerk. There is one part of PETA though that I like, that is the People Eating Tasty Animals part.  |

I wonder how many of these PETA reps sit at home with a plate full of animal guts themselves (-: It is not always in meats, either.. other foods are tainted with meat by products, Lol.. I feel PETA needs some kind of restriction limit on their propaganda they pass out and for some of their actions, though.. some of the things they do are pretty nasty, and should be punishable by law somehow.  |

I'm a "homicidal maniac dad". My kids love it when I bring meat home that I killed myself. If I have trouble getting them to eat, I just tell them that it is elk or venison. They ask for seconds..........  |

Ray I think its great that you eat what you kill. I have no problem with hunting or fishing,most people are meat eaters. I also agree with Sur5r,PETA is getting nuts with the things they do. |

I agree Jellie,groups like PETA give us real animal lovers a bad name. Peta does nothing for the love of animals they do it to inflict terror. They have actually hurt the cause because now if you say something pro animal rights people see you as an extremist. |

Your post sparked an interest, I went to the PETA website. There is a video of primates being tested in a lab. I beleive it said that the PETA investigator was hired to work there from April 6th 2004 to March 11th 2005 and then busted them..so almost a year of investigation and they WORKED there..they aren't an interest group..they are terrorists. AND FURTHERMORE if ANYONE told one of MY children (I don't have any but still) that their father was a murderer..I WOULD OWN THEM FOR LIBEL! |

I cant stand peta either."until your daddy learns that it is not fun to kill......" is the only part of that thing that I found to be somewhat true. It was delivered wrong though. I am sure that daddy knows its not fun to kill... there infact is a difference between hooking a fish and hooking a human. One thing that I do disagree with is sport hunting and fishing. I think it is shameful and wrong to go hunting for sport unless indeed you are hunting for no other reason than the fact that you NEED the meat on the table. If you do not NEED that meat- then you are sick. simple as that. Beez.  |
